The Week that was!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."(Jer. 29:11)

After two months of outreach ministry with the Nation to Nation, YWAM DTS Lonavala, India and three weeks with the YWAM Dayton Ohio reaching out the people in the villages of Isaan Region, Thailand sharing the Good News in Songs, Games, Bible Stories, Testimonies, Helping the Villagers in their Daily manual Work, teaching English in the Villages, Cell groups and spending quality time and praying for them, the Tamar Center Korat is back on track with the normal schedule.

Indeed this week was a time of introspection of ourselves as well as we spent quality time in retrospecting the past two month's ministry and thank our God for blessing Thailand through the outreach teams. We could spend time to relax and worship the Lord as well as pray for each other, ask how each of our staffs are doing, look into our personal as well as spiritual life and plan for the upcoming month and ministries ahead and pray for it too for God's guidance and will to be upon everything we do.

We ended our week in a unique way of letting our feet and hands do the talking by helping Waew's (our Staff) family with threshing of their harvested paddy. Indeed we enjoyed helping them and it was a real good day with the wind on our side, the cool breeze of Ban Non Te Surin Village added the hues with the Blessing of God upon this family. We had fun unlimited day with the threshing done another fun await's for us at the river, spending fun time in swimming and frolicking with the water as well as collecting snails. Our day ended with spending time with Waew's family in worshipping God and praying for the family and the village. It was indeed a week with difference, packed with lot's of surprises and blessings.

To God be the Glory!

from YWAM Dayton Outreach Team

We came here to bless the Tamar Center Korat, but instead we feel so blessed by them. During our stay here we were able to stay in a couple of villages and live alongside the local Thai people. We were also able to do some children's ministry, university outreach and much more. Our time here has really shown us the Tamar Center's influence in the community and their willingness to serve. It has also given us even more of a heart for the Thai people. While staying in one of the villages, we had the chance to pray for some of the non-believers in the area. When we were praying for an older gentleman one night, he told us he was ready to accept Christ. It was so rewarding to see the fruit of our efforts.

Thanks Tamar Center Korat

Reach In to Reach Out

4 nights and 3 days at Lam Nam Rong Village (bordering Cambodia) has been a real blessing in different ways. The YWAM Dayton DTS, Ohio for the cause of sharing the Love of God humbled themselves and seeking first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness they left aside all the comforts and luxuries, and lived like the village people, slept like the villagers, eat with them in the same plate, talk with them and spend time with them in sharing the good news through games, Bible stories, Dramas, Skits, Testimonies, Prayers and Cell Groups.

During the Day the team taught English at Lam Nam Rong School for three days and it was real fun and a good way to come closer with the students as well as the teachers where God even open ways to share the good news through different means. The English classes were not just academical based but it is based on humility of what we can give to humanity through God's Grace. The games, songs and dramas were all in one way or the other doors to share the good news so it was more than just fun activities. On the last day at school the team was given the opportunity to share the good news through skits and dramas and the children's were all in awe with their eyes fixed without a blink and all these has been possible by God's grace and the prayers of all the Believers.

To God be the Glory!
